… Clemons kept his horn with him on his off days too. If he drove past a lively looking bar and heard music coming out, he’d stop immediately and head inside, just in case he could get a shot at sitting in with the band. ‘I call that my searching time,’ he said. ‘The time I spent trying to find Bruce.’

About a month ago, I saw my first Springsteen concert. I was close enough to touch him- and when the chance came, I reached out with everything. As he was walking away, he saw me reaching and came back to grab my hand. It means so much - he came back.

So that’s all friends, that’s the end of a fantastic tour with a lot of great memories. The meeting of new Bruce fans, the first ESB tour without Clarence, the induction of the ESB in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, the performances of full albums, those nights where he played that song, or just the night you were at the show and you felt you finally belonged somewhere!
I know he will go on tour again soon and that we all will be there waiting for him but till we meet again…
STAY HARD, STAY HUNGRY, STAY ALIVE and TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES!

Whenever I watch Bruce perform “Outlaw Pete” from Glastonbury 2009, I am not sure whether to cry or laugh. The pure energy, sweat and raw passion he puts into that single song is astounding. The audience is just as crazy as he is and I find myself sat here with the biggest smile ever on my lips while the pumping energy fills me. I simply love that song, that performance and that man, more than anything.

I quit drinking a little over a month ago and it’s been quite a struggle. Something helping me through it is listening to Bruce’s albums over and over. His music inspires me to be my best self and to strive for improvement in every aspect of my life. Thanks to his inspiration I am keeping up my sobriety.
